ACC-RM01 Rack Mount Kit Guide

This documentation is written for AIR7310 devices and not applicable to other AIR-T device models.

ACC-RM01 Rack Mount Kit

This document lists all specifications pertaining to the ACC-RM01 Rack Mount Kit, which is a standard 19" rack mount designed specifically for the AIR-T. This product is a fabricated and formed metal chassis, built from laser-cut cold-rolled steel, powder coated in black satin, and silk-screened in white. Included are the following components:

  • (1) AIR-T 19" Rack Bracket – 1U Dual
  • (10) 18-8 Stainless Steel Hex Nut, M3 x 0.5 mm Thread
  • (10) Black-Oxide Alloy Steel Hex Drive Flat Head Screw
  • (1) Ball-End Hex L-Key, 2 mm Size

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Verify Contents

Ensure all components listed in the kit are present before beginning assembly.

Step 2: Prepare the AIR-T

Remove the rubber feet or any hardware from the bottom of your AIR-T unit.

Step 3: Install M3 Hex Nuts (if needed)

Insert four (4) M3 x 0.5 mm 18-8 stainless steel hex nuts into the mounting slots on the underside of the AIR-T.
Set them against the face plate and push inward until aligned with the screw hole.

Note: AIR-T units ship with these nuts pre-installed—confirm before proceeding.

Step 4: Position the AIR-T

Align and place the AIR-T into the rackmount kit, ensuring all mounting holes are properly aligned.

Step 5: Secure the Assembly

Carefully flip the entire assembly over and install four (4) black-oxide alloy steel hex-drive flat head screws (M3).
Use four screws per AIR-T unit installed.

  • Bend Radius: 2.286 mm
  • Countersink Locations: 8 locations, OD = 0.258 in
  • Silkscreen Area: ~1.75" x 1.25", centered on front face
  • Material: 0.052" Cold-Rolled Galvannealed Steel
  • Processes: Laser cutting, forming (6 bends), powder coating, and silkscreening
  • Finish: Black satin with white silkscreening

Handling

  • Avoid scratching or denting the coated surface.
  • Ensure grounding continuity if mounting electronics.
  • Sharp edges are deburred, but handle formed tabs with care.
